The first few days

We are through the first few days in Papua New Guinea – we arrived on a Saturday, went to church on Sunday, and work began on Monday.  As our systems adjust to PNG after a long travel time, we’re struggling a bit with sickness, but we’re pleased to say that we’re adjusting well to the timezone and even to the heat.

Praises:

  • Our supplies were here and ready for us to begin work
  • Our crew is getting along well and enjoys working together
  • We have been able to make steady progress these first few days

Requests:

  • Please continue to pray for good health for us and the team
  • Electricity has been rather sporadic, please pray that it stays on and doesn’t disrupt the work
  • For protection of everyone as we work, and quick progress

Here’s a few non-work related pictures.  (We’ll send out current pictures of the work on Friday).

Covina and Rosewita taught us ladies how to cook traditional PNG food.
