Hello from hot and humid Papua New Guinea!
We are learning our way around the center, getting acquainted with a myriad of neighborhood birds, and slowly getting accustomed to the climate. The work is going reasonably – a bit slower than we had hoped, but it’s still likely that we’ll finish this week.
Praises:
- We’ve had consistent electricity several days in a row now
- The work is progresing
- We had a really fun outing for our Sunday afternoon off of work
- We’ve been enjoying lots of fellowship as a team over games after dark
Requests:
- Our health still feels precarious, though we’ve been able to work
- Good weather – it has rained every night and almost every daytime that we’ve been here. We’d love it to get a bit dryer, and maybe even have a gentle breeze to cool us off while we work
- Finishing the work well
