Do you want to go to Papua New Guinea to help a missionary? Do you have some experience in light construction? Can you take 2-3 weeks to travel this spring? Do you have a passport (there’s probably time to get one if you hurry)?
If your answers are YES, then please give us a call or reply to this email soon.
We’re planning a Projects 4 Missions trip to Madang, Papua New Guinea in April. We’ve been asked to come help build out a “basement” lower level into a boys dorm for the Interface Program run by Ethnos 360 in PNG. The missionaries on site have already poured the foundation. Our labors would include light construction such as wall framing, metal siding, plumbing and electrical.
Chester and Amy are planning to go, and would like to take along a few handy adults. Chester will be the primary one working the project. (Amy will likely be mostly filling in where needed and checking out the environment for the possibility of future projects, but probably not doing a lot of the actual construction).
We expect the cost to be about $3500/person, with the fundraising shared among team members (we encourage you to join our fundraising efforts and events, and encourage you to do a bit on your own too)
