Back in January, we set aside a weekend to plan the next several months. We were intentional to not overload ourselves, and therefore had to say no to a few opportunities that we really wished we could do. One of these was the family campout with Free Grace International.
But when the trip to Mexico was postponed, we thought perhaps God was giving that opportunity back to us. So we sent an email asking if we could join in, even though registration had been closed for weeks. They kindly agreed.
The campout was last weekend at Beaver’s Bend State Park in Oklahoma. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, conversations and teaching. We jumped right in to help in the kitchen and loved that there was an open door for us to serve. A huge thank you to John and Lucas at Free Grace International for letting us join in at the last minute!
