We’re pretty sure you know we’re back from Italy by now. We arrived home and jumped right into holiday festivities, and in the hustle and bustle, we haven’t written up a proper summary nor sent you lots of pictures.
Today we begin to remedy that!
Our work in Italy had three main parts: Exterior façade, bathroom tile, and outdoor office space. We had a crew of nine – graciously hosted and fed by the Russo family (can you imagine adding nine people to your home for nine days?). The crew was amazing, and it was such an honor to work with them. Vince and Manuela were wonderful hosts, and worked along with us. We loved our conversations while we worked.
After we returned, Vince wrote a blog post about their home that mentions us. You can read it here (it’s even in English). Ann, our teammate, also wrote up a summary of the trip here (it’s also in English).
Here’s some pictures of our work on the exterior.
Here’s the before-and-after comparisons of each side (their house is the end of five connected units in this building, so only has three sides)
Next time we’ll show the other two projects – they ended up with fewer pictures, but still made a big difference for the Russo family.
