Last week (on the 23rd), our team left for Uganda. They took along 200+ textbooks and gifts for the missionary, resulting in twenty pieces of luggage – twelve of them weighing barely under the 50-pound limit! Thank you for praying for them as they traveled – the trip was especially long because they were stuck for an extra 28 hours in Rwanda due to a mechanical problem with their airplane. However, they arrived safely, and all their luggage made it too!
They eventually arrived at their destination (Gulu, Uganda) on Saturday evening (instead of the originally planned Friday evening) and jumped into serving. Monday morning was their first of five Bible Clubs, where Moriah and Ann led songs and Eva taught the Bible story and a memory verse using CEF materials. Over 150 kids came!
Please keep them in prayer as they lead four more Bible Clubs, visit widows, schools, churches, and pastors, and even spend a week serving where there’s no electricity.
