Hello from Uganda

Last week (on the 23rd), our team left for Uganda. They took along 200+ textbooks and gifts for the missionary, resulting in twenty pieces of luggage – twelve of them weighing barely under the 50-pound limit! Thank you for praying for them as they traveled!

Serving around Town

After we returned from Papua New Guinea, and before the season of cooking at Glad Tidings Bible Camp began, we were in town for about two weeks.  During that time, we took care of a few emergencies in our own house and cars, and also helped out a local area missionary with some home repairs.

Headed for Uganda

This coming Wednesday, this team of six amazing people will leave Omaha and fly to Uganda to serve there for a little over two weeks.

From Papua New Guinea

Thank you for sending us to Papua New Guinea earlier this year. We wanted to share with you the following note from the leaders of Interface – the program that used the new boys’ dorm just after we left.

He’s still Faithful

This summer, we’ve been watching our kids plan and execute their own “Project 4 Missions”.  We’re surprised at the suspense and adventure it is for us!

Even God’s Judgements are Gracious

When we think about the judgment seat of Christ and the fact that God will evaluate what we’ve done, it’s easy to be filled with fear. I’d like to encourage you with a few examples from Scripture that we don’t serve a God who capitalizes on our flaws and failures, but One who views us through the rose-colored lens of His lavish grace and love toward His children.
