Your prayers matter

Chester’s sister Noelle, her husband Matt, and their children are missionaries in Uganda. They have an urgent situation, and we ask you to join us in praying for them.

The situation: They need to return to the USA this summer for the birth of their sixth child and to finalize adoption paperwork for their Ugandan daughter, Apiche. An Ebola outbreak across the region has made this extremely complicated — travel is restricted, and leaving now could require up to three weeks of quarantine before entering the USA. This weekend, they are traveling to Kenya, where they have an appointment with the U.S. Embassy and hope to get approval to travel home.

Please pray for:

  1. The U.S. Embassy appointment — that the Embassy will accept their case and clear them to travel to the USA.
  2. Safe travel — the journey across Uganda into Kenya by public transport is no small thing; pray for protection and health along the way.
  3. Provision — the travel, quarantine, and Embassy appointment are expected to cost between $5,000 and $15,000. Pray for God to provide.
  4. Peace — for Noelle, Matt, Apiche, their other children, and their unborn baby to experience God’s peace through all of this.
  5. The Ebola outbreak — for swift containment, that it would not spread further.

Thank you for standing with our family through your prayers!
