God’s Timing in Trucks

Last fall, our Ford Expedition was totaled, leaving us without a vehicle to haul our trailer (which was stranded in Oklahoma). After considering whether to continue hauling equipment, we decided to watch for a good deal on a truck.

In November, Chester won a beat-up F350 at a South Dakota auction for $1,250 and took a bus to pick it up. It’s already proven its worth.

Two weeks later, Isaiah’s boss offered us a non-running F150 for free. We used our new truck to pick it up, and the very next day learned our nephew (who does camping ministry at Grace Haven) needed a 4WD vehicle. Isaiah delivered the F150 to him the same day. Our nephew got it started and is working to get it road-ready.

God provided us an affordable truck at just the right time, then immediately used it to bless others and meet our nephew’s need.  Isn’t that just like God?!
